We’ve all gone through the schooling stage. We were all once kids and teenagers, and we all thought at some point that there has to be more to life than getting stuck with a big homework assignment over the weekend.
You might get away with it from the teacher and prepare for at least a week without your cell phone if your parents hear you say this. Tough leaving you homework at school over the weekend isn’t a good excuse. It’s the students responsibility to know where their homework is and that it’s done by the due date. I am sick.
The oldest excuse in the book. Or second oldest. And very rarely will it work specially with the teachers. You can do that, you can blame your siblings that heshe doesn’t want to do their work properly.
You can say that night field with extra curriculars like sport practice to an after school, relatives event, night are often packed tight. Sometimes from the minute school gets out until it’s time to crawl into bed and starts all over again.
Otherwise the football games that went into overtime can be your excuse. You can say that the wifi wasn’t working with the evaluation of technology and the inconvenience of the internet. Eventually comes the issue. Technology problems, such as a device or wifi issue is a real excuse for missing a due date.
It is possible that your notebook can be stolen on the day the assignment is due. You could say you fell ill and were unable to complete any of the tasks given. However, if you always used this excuse, you could get caught someday.
You absolutely do have legal rights to put reasonable limits on your child’s homework time. If the missed homework is for a class late in the day, you might be able to do the work before school, during another class, or during lunch or break.
You can hand in the wrong assignment such as one from another class or an old one from the same class. A teacher can’t force you to do anything in a classroom.
Your actions may result in the instructor removing you from the class or punishing you for your refusal, but the teacher, school and district don’t have the authority to make you go do something you don’t want to do. Homework like medicine. If you take too little, it does nothing. If you take too much.
